Beloved Community for All: Welcoming and Including Our Transgender Congregants

LISTEN: The Spring 2019 issue of UU World included an article which was meant to provide information about transgender issues within the UUA.  Instead, its insensitive format provoked hurt, dismay and anger in the UU trans community.  This service will explore the language and approaches we can use in interacting with our trans congregants.  

Moving into Twilight

As we come together in community following summer and ease into the season of autumn, we become aware of the subtle shift in the earth’s natural light and its energy. Our minds, too, subtly shift gears:  the transition into the stillness of the winter months begins.  

Earth Teach Me Stillness

Mother Earth can help bring us energy and calm.  In observance of Earth Day, we will have a shortened service in the Sanctuary, followed by a few mindfulness practices on the Square.
