The Third Source reminds us that history and culture carry great wisdom. How are we to treat wisdom that might not be appropriate in our ‘enlightened’ culture?
Remembering Martin Luther King Jr’s words, “The time is always right to do what is right” we will look at Meadville residents Mr Elias Allen and Judge Pearson Church who by their courageous acts in the fall of 1880 set the stage for the desegregation of schools in Pennsylvania the following year.
