“He wakes up in the morning, does his teeth bite to eat and he’s rolling. Never changes a thing. The week ends, the week begins. She thinks we look at each other, wondering what the other is thinking, but we never say a thing. And these crimes between us grow deeper. Take these chances and place them in a box until a quieter time. Lights down, you up and die.” Dave Matthews.
Our daily lives are frequently filled with stress and jam-packed schedules, which often make us feel like we are on a hamster wheel of monotony. Due to our often busy lives, we may tend to procrastinate in other aspects of our lives by saying things like, “I’ll do that tomorrow, or I’ll call so and so later.” Sometimes, we forget to take the time to slow down and truly take the time to tell those we love and care about what they mean to us, how they have touched our lives, or thank them for just being themselves. We often do not realize this until it’s too late and our loved ones never had the chance to hear what they have meant to us.
