Taming One Another

In the classic story, The Little Prince, our enchanting title character meets a fox he would like to befriend. As the scene progresses, the animal teaches the boy how to “tame” him. When the Prince asks what this means, the fox replies: “It is an act too often neglected. It means to establish ties.” We learn from this story that all relationships require a process of forming connections and deepening trust. This morning, we’ll explore the unfolding process of “taming” between us, as Interim minister and congregation.
